2 Towns Ciderhouse Made Marion

The 2 Towns Ciderhouse Made Marion cider is a juicy, fruity bottle of fun. The name is a clever spin on Robin Hood folklore and a fruit Oregon is known for: the Marionberry.
At first, I loved the flavors in this cider. I began to sense something else as I sipped the bottle, but it has come back around to dark berry flavor. This is a nice twist to the typical apple cider. I can't wait to try more flavors of 2 Towns Ciderhouse ciders.

Crispin Natural Hard Pear Cider - Blackberry Pear

Crispin Cider is a company based out of Colfax, California, where they make classic and specialty ciders.

I chose a nice, light cider to begin with. This cider definitely has a fruit flavor because of the blackberry. It gives the cider a sweet sensation without an overt sugary aftertaste. I think of this cider as crisp, light, and sweet. It would complement a berry salad with raspberry vinaigrette, a chicken dish that has a hint of sweetness, or a fruit dessert.

This cider contains a well-balanced 5% alcohol by volume. I bought it at my local Fred Meyer grocery store as a 4 pack for $6.79. It was a great bargain for a highly drinkable cider. Crispin makes several more varieties of cider that I am looking forward to drinking.

Cheers!
